“Money and the Turning of the Age”

I discovered a philosopher-activist named Charles Eisenstein just a few weeks ago.  Now, like a close friend  I cannot imagine living without him – and his brilliant perspective.  He has written one book called “The Ascent of Humanity — The Evolution of the Human Sense of Self”.  Another one is coming — “Scared Economics”.  He combines a radical perspective, spiritual insight and brilliant analysis in a provocative and original way.  Here is a sample — Money and the Turning of the Age” – it is a long read but it takes only seconds to sense his unique approach.  Get to the end and you may or may  not buy his solution — but I cannot quarrel with its originality or the compassionate and wise place it springs from.

The analysis of where we are seems on target. The logistics and mechanics of the “Age of Reunion” are vague and without any examples. While I like the vision, I’m a little cynical that it will emerge gently and without chaos and violence. Sigh.
